What will happen when you subscribe?

We - which means René Jaun and Leo, the most intelligent dog in the world - are constantly involved in time consuming but exciting activities. We invite you to join our adventures by subscribing to one of our newsletters. If you decide to do so, this is what will happen:

  • Once or twice a month, I will send you an email informing you about the latest updates, the projects we currently are involved in, the personal or professional changes we go through, where we encounter difficulties or breakthroughs and how you can support us- if you want to. The emails will be short and fast to read whenever possible. And they will cover both, the private as well as the professional aspects of our lifes.
  • The emails may mention blog posts, other web sites, people, organizations, or services which I find are recommendable.
  • If you provide me with your Windows Live Messenger ID, your Skype name or other Instant Messenger Information, I will try to add you to my contact lists.
  • If the conditions about the newsletter delivery change, I am going to email you about this ahead of the change.
  • You always have the possibility to unsubscribe from the newsletters using The Newsletter Form

What won’t happen when you subscribe?

I appreciate every person who subscribes to our newsletter. Giving out one’s email address became somewhat risky in recent years. I am going to treat your data carefully and I will not send you any unwanted mailings. In particular, you can count on the following:

  • Me and my Hosting Provider are not going to share your personal data with anyone.
  • You are not going to receive copies of already published blog posts. If anything, there will be recommendations and links to them.
  • I am not going to put you under any obligation to support our work. Of course we do value your support, but it is up to you to decide if you’d like to give anything or not.
  • Should you unsubscribe from the newsletter and should I know you personally, I am of course not going to remove all your data and you will still receive my out-of-newsletter communications by email, IM or other ways.
